Codelsur Proyectos S.L. is today the result of a solid and consolidated business trajectory of more than twenty-five years and specialized in civil works projects. It was founded in 1985 in Ayamonte by Santiago Rodríguez Díaz (General Director). The first executions of the company were in agricultural and aquaculture farms, prioritizing in this initial stage the work of earthworks. Over time, the company has incorporated a wide range of work areas in the construction sector: Civil works, hydraulic infrastructure, irrigation and building, both for public and private companies.

CODELSUR is highly specialized in large-scale pipelines such as the start-up of the Chanza Irrigation Zone, an area declared of general interest for the Nation in 1985, and the Infrastructure of the Lower Guadalquivir Valley Irrigation Zone.
An ambitious irrigation work is currently being completed in the Badajoz town of Villanueva del Fresno, which includes a Pond, as well as the irrigation pipes from the Alqueva reservoir. The project includes a large capacity pumping station.
